Job description

Access has partnered with a successful multidisciplinary SME looking to add to their ever-growing Architectural team. The practice was established in 2011 and has recently expanded their office over in Guildford. Due to continued success, we are searching for a Part Two Architectural Assistant that can join the business and be a part of the continued success.

There are two teams within the practice, the planning team that focuses on the design stage of the process and then the technical side that focuses on the construction stage. The practice has a fantastic name within the industry, working with some top residential developers across the country, therefore giving you some great exposure in the industry.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to further develop their career from the day they start in the business. You will be involved in all aspects of the projects within an incredibly supportive, sociable firm. You will be given full support for further progression from the day you step into the office.

Experience:
  • Minimum of an Undergraduate Degree in Architecture
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in the UK
  • At least 1 year experience of using AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Photoshop
  • Proficient with InDesign
  • Be interested in large scale UK residential development (50 – 500 Plots) for SMEs and National Housebuilders, with focus on Design and submission of Planning Applications
  • Have an understanding of large-scale residential design
  • A UK Driving Licence
  • The right to work in the UK permanently
