AIM Design seeks a motivated and skilled Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our creative Dundee design studio.

We are a design led award winning practice renowned for innovative exhibition and interior design based at Dundee City Quay’s waterfront. We currently have a broad range of work from bespoke high end private domestic work to public and private commercial work including exhibitions, visitor attractions, retail and offices with an expanding workload of exciting projects at all RIBA Stages. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our creative design studio to provide support in the design and delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years-experience working in practice preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Scottish Planning and Building Regulations.
  • Experience of general architectural practice systems, design and construction methods.
  • On site experience with the ability to deal with contractual issues is desirable.
  • Strong design skills and technical knowledge with excellent detailing ability is essential.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Revit, 3D modelling skills essential.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
