Part 2 Architect or Newly Qualified Architect, Birmingham, £28k - £38k DOE

Opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or newly qualified Architect to join an Architectural and Project Management consultancy in the centre of Birmingham.

You will be supporting the Project lead / Architect and working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice has a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area; therefore, a healthcare Architect would be desirable but not essential.

You will join a medium-sized team of 30 working across a variety of projects, leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.

The Role:
  1. Assisting the Architect from start to finish across all RIBA stages, managing the overall design process within the RIBA work stages.
  2. Co-ordinating a design team, working with Product Designers in-house and external construction professionals.
  3. Completing site visits to check on progress and budget.
  4. Liaising with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams, and ensuring that the design projects are on schedule.
The Candidate:
  1. Relevant ARB / RIBA qualification.
  2. Good working knowledge of UK building regulations.
  3. Client-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong technical abilities.
  5. The ability/willingness to deliver projects.
  6. An up-to-date knowledge of planning stage processes and methods.
  7. Revit Proficiency is mandatory.
