A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Parkinson's Disease Specialist Practitioner to join their team. This permanent, full-time position involves delivering care to patients in clinic settings and on acute wards. An exciting permanent, full-time opportunity has arisen to join the Parkinson's Specialist Team to support people with Parkinson's whilst they are in-patients and also in clinic settings within UHP. The successful candidate will preferably have at least one year's experience at band 6, or equivalent, leadership experience and experience or an interest in caring for patients with Parkinson's Disease with insight and knowledge of the condition.
The post is a development post, commencing at band 6, developing to band 7 on completion of relevant training and meeting specified outcomes. Full support, including a structured induction period, will be given to help the post holder meet the requirements of the role.
The successful candidate will be supporting patients with a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, delivering care in the clinic setting and on the acute wards and virtually, via our Parkinson's Hub.
