Our client based in North West London is currently recruiting for a Parking Project Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis for approximately 12 months, offering hybrid working and a day rate of £400 PAYE / approximately £480 Umbrella LTD per day.

The Parking Projects Manager is responsible for delivering a number of transformational Parking Services projects, including developing and implementing relevant policies and a parking strategy for the Council.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and deliver a range of complex and strategically important Parking Services projects.
  • Collaborate across departments and with project sponsors to achieve project outcomes within budgets, ensuring a consistent corporate approach.

Work with Directors, Heads of Service, service managers, IT, HR, communications, suppliers, finance colleagues, and frontline staff. Use judgment and experience to influence, negotiate, and persuade stakeholders to deliver Parking Services projects effectively.

Provide progress updates and advice to Council, Cabinet, Scrutiny Panels, the Corporate Management Team, Departmental Management Teams, and other staff.

Guide and challenge project sponsors on delivery approaches, sharing best practices and innovative ideas for post-implementation service delivery.

  • Knowledge of innovative approaches to transforming local government services and their practical application.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, influence, negotiation, and persuasion to engage stakeholders and deliver projects that enhance services and meet priorities.
