Job summary

Verdant Parks is seeking a Hands-on Grounds & Site Maintenance Supervisor at Queensberry Bay to lead the Maintenance team and manage day-to-day grounds operations. You will oversee projects, supervise staff, and contribute to safe, high-standard park environments for guests and team members alike.

Role combines supervisory duties with hands-on maintenance, emphasizing practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, landscaping and general upkeep. Experience in caravan/lodge maintenance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driving licence.
• Experience in maintenance, grounds, facilities, or site management.
• Experience supervising a team in a maintenance environment.
• Good practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, landscaping or general maintenance.
• Experience siting caravans is advantageous.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the Maintenance team.
• Allocate workloads and monitor progress to ensure high standards.
• Oversee maintenance projects, repairs, and park development work.
• Supervise caravan and lodge maintenance and ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain park grounds, buildings, and facilities.
• Ensure machinery and tools are safe and well-maintained.
• Assist with recruitment, induction, and performance development.
• Liaise with guests, owners and contractors to resolve issues.
