Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is hiring a casual facilities assistant to keep park facilities clean, safe and welcoming. This zero-hours post operates across shifts with early start times and flexible hours, requires COSHH knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

You will follow cleaning schedules, report issues promptly, and work independently or as part of a team within the Facilities Services group.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Awareness of health and safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues.
• Good attention to detail and a thorough approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment in the park facilities.
