Parish Grants Officer – Diocese of Westminster

Location: London, SW1P

Salary: £37,500 per annum

The Role
  • Lead and manage the National Lottery Awards for All grant programme across the Diocese.
  • Guide parishes through the full application process, helping them secure up to £20,000 for projects that strengthen community life.
  • Ensure parishes are fully supported from first enquiry to successful submission, empowering them to deliver initiatives that bring people together and support those most affected by the cost‑of‑living crisis.
  • Work closely with parishes, priests, and key stakeholders, providing support with bid writing, promoting funding opportunities, and proactively building a strong pipeline of prospective applicants.
  • Support grant‑fundraising capacity across the Diocese.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Report on monitoring returns and internal KPIs.
About You
  • Competency in fundraising.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong bid‑writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience preparing reports and budgets.
  • The ability to travel to parishes and attend meetings and events.
