Job summary

Parcelforce is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support Christmas season operations. You will load and unload parcels, move items safely, sort parcels for routes, and assist with trailer preparation for drivers. The role requires capable handling of items per Royal Mail standards and a team-focused attitude.

Starting pay includes day and night shifts with competitive rates and weekly pay; no prior experience is required, and flexibility is valued in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility to switch between tasks throughout shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability and readiness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day of the role:

• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

Starting Pay Rate:

Monday to Saturday Days: 06:00 - 20:00 - £13.17 per hour

Monday to Saturday Nights: 20:00 - 06:00 - £15.91 per hour

Shift Days and Hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 00:30 - 08:30
