Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for Parcelforce during the Christmas peak. You will load and unload parcels and move them through the warehouse, assisting drivers and preparing trailers.

No prior experience is required, but experience in similar environments helps. You must be flexible, physically fit, able to lift up to 30 kg and push up to 250 kg with assistance, and work well as part of a team.

Join our team for the Christmas season and become a vital part of the operations as a Warehouse Operative with Parcelforce. This role is ideal for those seeking a dynamic work environment and the chance to be part of a historic service that connects people and businesses every day.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Starting Pay Rate:

• Monday to Saturday Days: 06:00 - 20:00 - £13.17 per hour
• Monday to Saturday Nights: 20:00 - 06:00 - £15.91 per hour

Shift Days and Hours: Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 22:30
