Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd in Ipswich is recruiting Seasonal Collection & Delivery Drivers for the Christmas period. You will manage parcel collections and deliveries across local addresses, with shifts between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Saturday, supporting our busy delivery network.

You should hold a UK manual licence with up to 6 points, be able to drive a 3.5t van, lift up to 30kg, and deliver friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Experience or confidence driving a 3.5t van.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

We are looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Collection & Delivery Drivers to manage parcel collections and deliveries in the local area. Day-to-day of the role:

·Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks to ensure safe delivery of holiday cheer.

·Collect and deliver parcels, including Christmas gifts and seasonal goods, to residential and business addresses.

·Provide professional, friendly, and dependable service to enhance the festive spirit among customers.

·Sort and organise parcels efficiently before embarking on delivery routes.

·Utilise a handheld PDA device to follow planned routes efficiently during the high-demand season.

·Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg, ensuring all holiday packages are handled with care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
