Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Aberdeen is seeking a Driver/Parcel Sorter. You’ll sort parcels, plan delivery routes, and perform vehicle safety checks to help keep our service running smoothly.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year, with potential to £30,000 including overtime and weekend premiums. We offer a strong pension, holiday entitlement from 22.5 days, medical cover, uniform and training, plus access to My Bundle+ discounts and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your address and max 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.

• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks.

38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday - 09:24 - 17:00, with opportunity for overtime on Saturdays and throughout the week.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
