Overview

Parcelforce Worldwide is a trusted express parcel delivery provider in the UK. We employ over 5,500 people and operate across a network of 54 depots. We use technology to stay one step ahead and seek friendly, committed people to join our diverse and supportive team.

We are looking for an excellent Collection and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team, support our growing business and exceed our customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Plan your delivery route and carry out safety checks on your vehicle at the start of your day.
• Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers.
• Deliver items ranging from birthday presents to vital business information.

Benefits

• Starting salary of £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) after 6-month probation, plus an annual supplement of £842 pro rata, nightshift allowance and benefits (based on a 38-hour week). Potential total package circa £30,000 per annum with overtime.

• Earn by working extra hours; driving allowance of £26.40 per week and weekly bonus up to £16.
• Saturday & Sunday premiums; Saturday up to £4.09 per hour and Sunday up to £6.13 per hour (contracted hours after 06:00 Saturday or 00:01–23:59 Sunday).
• Company pension scheme and 22.5 days annual holiday entitlement (increasing with service); option to purchase additional leave.

About you

• Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B); ideally a clean licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You will need to show your licence at your assessment.
