Overview

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting an excellent Collection and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team. We offer a competitive package and benefits as part of a growing business focused on delivering excellent service to customers.

Starting salary of £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period, plus an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime).

Working hours: 10 Part time hours per week with opportunity for overtime
Typical attendance is Saturday 07:00 – 17:00

Responsibilities

• Plan your delivery route and carry out safety checks on your vehicle at the start of your day.
• Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers.
• Deliver a range of items, including birthday presents and vital business information, in line with service standards.

About you

• Naturally friendly, positive and proactive with a long-term career mindset in a growing company.
• Ability to build good relationships with colleagues and customers, and work well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg.
• Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B).
• Clean licence preferred but not essential; licence should not have more than 6 penalty points. You’ll be required to show your licence at your assessment.
