Overview

Starting salary of £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period, plus an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including benefits. Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: 38 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Typical attendance: Tuesday to Saturday (07:00 – 14:36)

Responsibilities

• Plan your delivery route and carry out safety checks on your vehicle each day.
• Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers by handling items from birthday presents to vital business information.

About you

• Naturally friendly, positive and proactive with a desire for a long-term career in a growing company.
• A brilliant team player who builds good relationships and seeks the best results for customers.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg.
• Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B); ideally a clean licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• You will be required to show your licence at your assessment.
