Overview

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking an excellent Collection and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team. You will support our growing business and exceed our customers’ expectations. Starting salary of £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period, plus an annual supplement of £842 pro rata, nightshift allowance and benefits. The role is fixed term with Saturday hours (8 hours per week, with overtime opportunity). Typical shift: 08:00–16:00. Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cornwall LD Unit 11 Callywith Gate Industrial Estate Bodmin PL31 2RQ.

There is potential to earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum including benefits (based on a 38 hour full-time week with overtime).

Responsibilities

• Plan your delivery route at the start of each day and perform safety checks on your vehicle.
• Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, delivering items from birthday presents to vital business information.
• Meet customer expectations and contribute to a smooth, efficient service.

• Able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence (cat B) covering up to 3.5 tonnes; ideally with a clean licence and no more than 6 penalty points. You must show your licence at your assessment.
