Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd. in Hoyland, Barnsley is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Parcel Sorter to join a large parcel distribution center. You will sort, package and prepare parcels for delivery across a shift pattern, with full on-site support and potential progression to permanent employment.

Roles include label accuracy, stock checks and keeping a clean working environment. No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided and on-site benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in sorting.
• Strong communication skills with team members and supervisors.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels by delivery route and prepare for dispatch.
• Package parcels securely and label correctly.
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area and follow health and safety rules.
• Work across rotating shifts as required.
