Job summary

Pertemps Bond, on behalf of Royal Mail, is recruiting for a temporary Parcel Sorter at the Atherstone Parcel Sorting Centre. The role involves standing on shifts, unloading and sorting parcels, and working in a busy centre with a team, starting early mornings.

Morning shift 6am–2pm, paid travel time two hours per shift. You must be comfortable with lifting up to 11kg, pushing 25kg trolleys, and working across shifts, including weekends if required.

Qualifications

• Job requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting.
• Includes pushing trolleys up to 25kg and lifting mail bags up to 11kg.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels from vehicles.
• Move parcels through the sorting centre and sort items.
• Load mail bags and parcels and maintain a safe, tidy workspace.
• Meet tight deadlines and work as part of a team.
