Job summary

The Best Connection in the United Kingdom is seeking Parcel Sorters to join our client in the Telford area. Working hours are 16:00–20:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime on Saturdays.

Pay rate is £13.02 per hour. You will identify, scan and sort parcels by size, weight or route, place parcels on the correct conveyor or area, check for damage or labeling issues, and keep the workspace clean and safe to promote efficiency in a busy distribution center.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to use barcode scanning technology to track items.
• Knowledge of parcel handling and shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify, scan, and sort parcels by size, weight, destination or route.

Parcel Sorter responsibilities:

• Place parcels on the correct conveyor belt, pallet, or designated area.
