Job summary

Evri Group is seeking an on-site Warehouse Operative at Pen-y-bont Depot, Bridgend. You will support the supervisor and day manager by handling mislaid parcels, repacking damaged packaging, and forwarding items to owners or clients across the network.

This role is 40 hours per week, with day or night shifts and some weekend work. A full-time contract; flexible and part-time hours may be available. Pay is £12.83 per hour with overtime at £19.25; benefits include a pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to support shift operations.
• Physical fitness required for manual handling of parcels.

Responsibilities

• Support Supervisor and Day Manager on shift.
• Repack parcels with damaged packaging but no damage to the parcel and forward them to couriers or clients.
• Track and return parcels swiftly by liaising with hubs, delivery units, couriers and clients.
• Report to the Inbound Process Supervisor and assist in leading the returns team on small projects.
• Manage time independently with a 40-hour full-time schedule; some weekend shifts and possible flexible/part-time hours.
