Parcel Delivery Driver

Are you ready to deliver a difference? Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for long-term assignment postal and delivery driver positions. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Malvern

Shift: Working 5 days between Monday - Sunday

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Hourly Rate: £13.37 basic rate (additional rate for overtime)

About the role

You’ll start your day with about an hour in the local delivery office, loading mail for your route, before setting out on foot or in a provided van to complete your parcel/mail round.

You’ll be provided with a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. Each round usually takes around four hours to complete. The device also acts as your routing system, optimizing your route for efficiency.

About You

Upbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be comfortable working alone or as part of a team, and enjoy getting to know different people on your round. You should have a strong sense of community, and be interested in a role with flexible working patterns.

Since we deliver post and parcels rain or shine, you should enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather. This job can help you stay fit and active.

Experience in a customer-facing role would be advantageous.

Driving Licence Requirements

A full UK manual driving licence (at your current UK address) with no more than six penalty points is required. A clean licence is preferred.
