Parcel Delivery Driver

Are you ready to deliver a difference? Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for long-term assignment postal and delivery driver positions. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Leominster

Shift: Working 5 days between Monday - Sunday

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Hourly Rate: £13.37 basic rate (additional rate for overtime)

About the role

You’ll start your day in the local delivery office, loading mail for your route, before setting out on foot or in a provided van to complete your parcel/mail round. You’ll be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries, with each round usually taking around four hours. The device will also help plan the most economical route.

About You

You’re upbeat and self-motivated, comfortable working alone or as part of a team, and enjoy engaging with different people on your round. You value community and appreciate flexible work patterns.

We deliver post/parcels rain or shine, so you should enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather. If you like staying active, this role will help keep you fit.

Some experience in a customer-facing role would be ideal.

Driving licence requirements:

A full UK manual driving licence (at your current UK address) with no more than six penalty points is essential; a clean licence is preferred.
