Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Parcel and Letter Delivery Drivers in Ipswich to serve the community by delivering parcels and letters on a dedicated route, combining driving and walking as needed, and upholding the brand’s reputation for reliability and friendly customer service. The role operates a minimum of five days per week (Monday to Saturday) with shift times 14:00–20:00.

Pay starts at £13.69 per hour, with DBS check required during application.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently on a dedicated route.
• Drive and/or walk to complete daily deliveries.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as required.
