Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters in the community. You will deliver on a dedicated route, driving and/or walking, with a DBS check required as part of the application process and a 15:00–21:00 shift.

The role is temporary with a daily basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour. You will need a Full UK driving licence (points may apply), excellent customer service, fitness for outdoor work, and strong organisational and flexible abilities to adapt to varying shift

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (with no more than six points).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Love of the outdoors and a good level of fitness.
• Good organisational skills and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently along a dedicated route.
• Drive and/or walk to complete deliveries and maintain high integrity standards.
• Sort mail/parcels at the delivery office as required.
