Job summary

Royal Mail in the United Kingdom is looking for Delivery Drivers to deliver parcels and letters, and to be part of a world‑class service that communities rely on.

You will deliver quickly and efficiently on a dedicated route by driving or walking, while upholding high integrity standards and friendly customer service.

The role is temporary, requires a full UK driving licence, and shifts run Monday to Saturday, 07:00–15:00, at £13.69 per hour with DBS check during application.

Qualifications

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 07:00 - 15:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel/Letter Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.
