Job summary

Royal Mail in Rhyl is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver to join our local delivery team. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across the assigned area, with Sunday work as part of the rota, and involves vehicle prep and using route-planning tech to meet schedules.

You will need a friendly front-line presence, be organised and reliable, and deliver excellent customer service while representing Royal Mail. The position offers a permanent contract with progressive benefits and a supportive team

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across the assigned area as part of a multi-drop route.
• Prep your van and workload for the day and use route-planning tools.
• Ensure parcels are delivered to the right place at the right time.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a Royal Mail ambassador.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 7 hours per week, working Sunday, working between10:30 and 18:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
