Job summary

InPost Ltd. is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver for our Carlisle depot. The role involves loading and delivering parcels, maintaining vehicle security, and keeping warehouse operations efficient.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00–17:30, 40 hours per week, with a £12.71 per hour pay rate and a supportive benefits package. Ideal candidates will hold a Full UK driving licence (max 6 points), have at least 3 years of driving experience, and possess strong local knowledge of Carlisle.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) required.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Solid local geographical knowledge of Carlisle addresses & streets.
• Physically fit to meet the demands of multi-drop driving and warehouse work.
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.
• Fully DBS checked prior to commencement; drug & alcohol testing if selected.

Responsibilities

• Load your vehicle safely and within legislation.
• Deliver parcels to customers safely, efficiently and on time.
• Ensure the security of the vehicle and goods during transit.
• Uplift previous days' orders and complete documentation per procedures.
• Break down, allocate and load inbound supplies.
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy and adhere to company policies.

Unit D Kings Drive, Kingmoor Park South, Carlisle, CA6 4RD

Shift Pattern:

Tuesday to Saturday

Hours:

09:00am – 17:30pm - 40hrs per week.

Salary: £12.71p/h

What you’ll be doing:

• Load your vehicle safely and within legislation
• Deliver parcels to our customers safely, efficiently and on time
• Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit to customer

What we need from you:

• Full UK driving Licence (No more than 6 points)

• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
• Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses & streets
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi drop driving and warehouse role
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
• Fully DBS checked - prior to commencement.
• Drug & alcohol testing if successful on a random basis.
