Paraplanning Team Leader - Farnborough

We are looking for a Paraplanning Team Leader to join our client's expanding firm in Farnborough. You will help manage the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring pipeline management and progressing cases in a timely manner, highlighting any potential concerns to the paraplanning manager. You will need to understand client needs and objectives, helping to define the appropriate advice route and deliver recommendations in a clear and compliant manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the team daily against targets, track cases, and ensure timely delivery within SLAs
  • Provide technical support and training to develop the team’s competence
  • Introduce process improvements, liaising with the Paraplanner Manager
  • Review and quality check client fact-finds for completeness
  • Conduct case research, obtain illustrations, and support compliant recommendations
  • Draft holistic financial planning advice and coordinate report issuance
  • Maintain technical and market knowledge to support recommendations
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills for client and team work
  • Effective interpersonal skills for training and mentoring
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and industry guidance
  • Knowledge of current industry best practices
  • Experience with advice across multiple providers and products
Experience:
  • Financial Services experience, preferably in life and pensions
  • Previous paraplanning experience across various providers
