Job summary

Meraki Talent is seeking a Paraplanner or Trainee Paraplanner to join the Edinburgh team. You will support financial planners with technical analysis, scenario modelling and research to help deliver compliant, client-focused advice.

In this role, you will draft written recommendations, attend client meetings, and work closely with client service to ensure high levels of service. A proactive approach to learning and progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Financial Planning/Advice firm.
• Experience as a Paraplanner or strong interest in becoming one.
• Willingness to study towards qualifications.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Paraplanner / Trainee Paraplanner:

• Work with the financial planning and client service teams to deliver an excellent level of client service
• Provide technical support to financial planners by analyzing and modelling various financial scenarios
• Draft well written and effective advice containing all the relevant information that clients need to be aware of including conclusions and recommendations
• Attend client meetings alongside the advice team to conduct research

Background of the Paraplanner / Trainee Paraplanner:

• Experience working in a Financial Planning/Advice firm
• Experience working as a Paraplanner or strong interest in becoming a Paraplanner
• Diploma in Financial Planning/Paraplanning or willingness to study towards qualifications
