About the Role:

We are actively recruiting for Paraplanners to join a growing financial services team, ideally based at our Ewloe office. We are open to considering candidates based in Liverpool, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements. Whether you are an experienced, Diploma-qualified Paraplanner, or a trainee paraplanner who has worked through most of the Diploma exams and has some experience within an IFA practice, we would love to hear from you.

As a Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting IFA advisers, preparing comprehensive reports, researching financial products, and ensuring that all client documentation meets the regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research & Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports based on financial analysis and client information, ensuring that all recommendations align with the clients' goals.

  • Financial Product Analysis: Conduct research on a variety of financial products and services to support the adviser's recommendations.

  • Client Liaison Support: Assist advisers in maintaining relationships with clients by preparing documents, answering client queries, and providing technical support.

  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all client files are compliant with industry regulations, including maintaining up-to-date records and accurate documentation.

  • Technical Support: Support advisers with technical queries, product research, and provide paraplanning services that enhance client outcomes.

Skills & Experience:
  • Trainee Paraplanner: Ideally, you will have completed most of the Diploma exams and have some practical experience in an IFA environment.

  • Experienced Paraplanner: Diploma-qualified individuals are preferred, with Chartered status rewarded with higher salary potential.

  • IFA Experience: Prior experience within an IFA practice is highly advantageous, especially working on research, report writing, and financial product analysis.

  • Strong written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in report preparation.

  • Proficiency in using financial planning tools and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy, client-focused environment.
