Job summary

Blakemore Recruitment is seeking a Paraplanner for a well-established Surrey financial planning practice in Guildford. You’ll support Financial Advisers, producing high-quality technical documentation and research to deliver tailored client solutions.

There is a clear path to become an adviser within 12 months, with a supportive, collaborative team and exposure to complex cases. Excellent professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Paraplanning or Senior Financial Planning Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and planning products.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach with commitment to client outcomes.
• Level 4 Diploma qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and technical documentation.
• Conduct research across pensions, investments and protection products.
• Produce financial analysis and support recommendations.
• Prepare post-meeting documentation, including fund switches and withdrawals.
• Liase with providers and third parties for policy information.
• Manage own workflow and meet deadlines.
• Support advisers with client queries and servicing requirements.
• Collaborate with client support and operations teams.
• Contribute to business projects and regulatory initiatives.
