If you’re interested in progressing your career in financial services, this Paraplanner Support role could be for you. The company will provide training and exam support if you aren’t fully Diploma qualified and there is excellent potential within this role to progress into a Paraplanner role if that’s where you’d like to be.

There is also the opportunity to work flexible hours, and potential to work from home after initial induction.

The role:

•Support the Business Owner in ad-hoc tasks as required

•Supporting the Paraplanner Team and Superviser in completing their day-to-day duties and ad-hoc tasks

•Preparation of meeting packs for the Financial Adviser

•Act as main point of contact and effectively deal with clients and other parties, while establishing and maintaining strong relationships

•Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile

•Checking Portfolio Reports from the Administration Team prior to issuing them to Clients

Skills and experience required:

•Minimum of two years in aFinancial Administration

•Experience in fund and product research

•Some knowledge of pensions (including pension transfers) and investments including VCT/EIS and other esoteric investments

•High level of analytical capability

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•Excellent written communication skills

•Experience of using Intelligent Office would be desirable but not essential

•Self-starter who will hit the ground running and is used to working under their own initiative

•Good time and caseload management skills
