Type of Position: Paraplanner - Oxford
Pay: £30k - £50k

Paraplanner - Oxford

Our client is looking for a talented Paraplanner to join their team based in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Planner in formulating advice to clients, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate.
  • Review client objectives to ensure they are clear, concise, and achievable based on the client’s financial circumstances.
  • Research and analyze investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives.
  • Review asset allocation for investment and pension holdings.
  • Complete financial cashflow forecasts to demonstrate the client’s current and future financial positions.
  • Prepare Financial Plans outlining the client’s current position, goals, and strategies to achieve them.
  • Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties regarding technical queries.
  • Accurately complete new business sheets for handover to the PA.
  • Support and assist team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are met.
  • Fully Diploma qualified.
  • Good understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide high-quality service to advisers and clients.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • AFPC qualification or working towards it.
  • Understanding of cashflow modelling.
  • Broad knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and high technical proficiency.
  • In-depth experience with cashflow modelling.
  • Ability to manage and complete projects effectively.
