Job summary

The JobsBoard in Gloucester is seeking a Paraplanner for an office-based role. You will support Financial Advisers by preparing client files, performing research, and drafting recommendation reports to aid financial planning decisions.

Essentially, applicants should have at least 1 year in paraplanning, strong written communication, and good IT skills. A Level 4 qualification or progress toward is required. Salary up to £60k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a paraplanning role or current financial services study.
• Understanding of the financial planning process and approvals.
• Ability to follow defined processes and deliver outcomes with or without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Check compliance paperwork is complete and up to date.
• Confirm client risk profile and discuss objectives with Advisers.
• Assemble client information for cash-flow analysis and planning.
• Undertake research to identify suitable solutions with Adviser input.
• Prepare reports, comparisons and suitability letters for sign-off.
• Liaise with legal and tax advisers as needed.
• Support investment portfolios and implement approved strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships and attend meetings when required.
• Organise future planning meetings and reviews with clients.
