Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Wealth Management firm in Leighton Buzzard that is looking to hire a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner who is also willing to advise clients of a bank.

This role offers hybrid working: 2 days from home and 3 days in the office. Remote working options are also considered.

The company is a highly professional, client-focused financial planning practice based in Leighton Buzzard.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director and will support the financial advisers and administration team in client servicing matters.

Responsibilities include

  • Preparing paperwork for meetings and liaising with providers, including research, on behalf of Financial Advisers.
  • Producing Suitability Letters promptly as requested.
  • Communicating directly with clients via verbal, written, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Checking compliance documentation to ensure client files are current and complete.
  • Coordinating with the administration team for new business processing, providing clear instructions, and monitoring case progress.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards it, with at least 2 years of paraplanning experience.
  • Strong client communication skills and ability to identify opportunities to improve clients' financial wellbeing.
  • Experience with MS Office, Intelligent Office (or similar), research tools like O&M and Dynamic Planner; experience with Cash Flow modelling is an advantage. Training will be provided if needed.
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
