Paraplanner | Wolverhampton | Full Time | Up to £45,000 Per Annum (dependent upon experience)
Our client is an Independent Financial Adviser providing expert advice to help clients gain the most from their wealth. From their offices in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, they work with clients across the West Midlands and beyond.

Are you the right person for the job?
- Must have proven capability of being a Paraplanner within Financial Services previously.
- Essential that you hold the Financial Planning Diploma.
- You must have experience with Wrap platforms – knowledge of Standard Life and Aviva is essential, and some knowledge of AXA is also advantageous.
- Knowledge of FE Analytics and Intellif.
- Experience with using Intelligent Office back-office system is advantageous.
- Able to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy office as well as on own initiative.
- Can do attitude and willing to learn.
- The successful candidate should be prepared to study for relevant qualifications in relation to the role to enhance skillset and knowledge (please note the client will reimburse for the cost of these as soon as they’re passed).
- Training will be provided on systems and for duties where you don’t have experience.
What will your role look like?
- Maintaining wrap platforms (Aberdeen and Aviva platforms).
- Undertake client reviews, set up model portfolios and undertake switches and rebalances.
- Obtaining client valuations both on the platforms and with other providers.
- Preparation work for client meetings including producing illustrations and paperwork required.
- Preparing and sending client Income Drawdown Review Reports (including cashflow projections using CashCalc software).
- Contacting companies for existing product details via post and email.
- Submitting applications (including those on Wrap platforms) and sending off paperwork, chasing them to completion.
- Conducting research using FE Analytics and Intellifo.
- Supporting the Investment Director / Financial Advisers when required.
- Answering queries or ensuring they are dealt with by the appropriate person.
- Checking documents received, sending to client where appropriate.
What can you expect in return?
- Salary - up to £45,000 per annum (dependent upon experience).
- Holidays – 26 days + bank holidays (you are required to save 4 days for Christmas; however, some are gifted as the company closes over the festive period).
