Paraplanner

Salary: 45,000 + Bonus
Location: Harrogate (Hybrid - 2 days WFH)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a technically skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner looking to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed wealth management group? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to support our team of advisers by delivering high-quality, compliant financial planning reports and research. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding business with a strong commitment to innovation and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities of the Paraplanner:
Produce fully compliant and technically complex suitability reports, including research and product recommendations.
Conduct asset allocation research and analyse clients' existing investment portfolios.
Obtain valuations, quotations, and complete supporting application documentation.
Ensure all advice is delivered within a strict ethical and compliance framework.
Maintain and update report templates and models in collaboration with the Paraplanning team.
Manage personal workload and provide regular updates to the line manager.
Commit to continuous personal development and maintain supporting records.
Adhere to Consumer Duty outcomes and internal policies.
Perform any other duties reasonably required by the business.

Key Requirements of the Paraplanner:
Level 4 Diploma Qualified (minimum), with 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
Strong experience in writing technical suitability reports and conducting financial research.
Career-focused with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Experience with pension switching and transfer products is highly beneficial.
Cashflow forecasting experience is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
