The Role
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will:
- Work closely with Financial Planners and Client Executives to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Produce high-quality suitability reports that clearly explain recommendations and outcomes.
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection, and wider financial planning areas.
- Use cashflow modelling and scenario planning tools to support client decision-making.
- Analyse and review fact-finds, risk profiles, and client information to identify opportunities and potential gaps.
- Assist in the development and review of complex financial planning strategies.
- Prepare application forms and supporting documentation for new business and existing client changes.
- Liaise with providers, clients, and colleagues to obtain information and resolve queries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, tax legislation, and FCA regulations.
- Contribute ideas and best practice to help improve processes and client outcomes.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning role.
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Excellent understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- The ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear and concise reports.
- Experience using financial planning software, cashflow modelling tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
