Paraplanner - North West

Location: Southport (with flexible working & 1 day remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join one of the UK's leading financial planning firms, based in the North West.

As part of a growing team, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting high-net-worth clients and contributing to the firm's expansion plans.

Working closely with the internal team, you'll help design tailored investment solutions for both new and existing clients. This is a dynamic role involving exposure to high-value portfolios, complex client cases and ever-changing legislation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow modelling, risk profiling and client account reviews.
2. Develop and recommend bespoke financial solutions for high-net-worth clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. Collaborate with advisers and other team members to create detailed, compliant suitability reports.
4. Maintain accurate records of client data and provide support with investment strategy development.
5. Deliver excellent client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar technical financial planning role.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
4. High level of professionalism, trustworthiness and discretion.
