Are you a skilled Paraplanner ready to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a rapidly growing wealth management firm, is looking for an experienced and technically proficient Paraplanner to join a forward-thinking financial planning firm. This is a hybrid, full-time role

in which you'll play a vital part in ensuring high-quality, compliant advice is provided to clients across a wide range of financial areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft clear, accurate, and compliant suitability reports
  • Conduct research into pensions, tax wrappers, funds, and protection products
  • Liaise with product providers to gather key client and policy information
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and complete post-meeting follow-up
  • Carry out AML checks and maintain compliance standards
  • Support continuous improvement of internal systems and processes

About You:

  • Experience as a paraplanner in a financial planning firm
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and trusts
  • Solid understanding of FCA regulations and suitability obligations
  • Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using financial planning tools (e.g., Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, CashCalc, Voyant)
  • Experience in M&A environments (desirable)
  • Knowledge of EIS, VCTs, BPR, and equity release (desirable)
  • Exposure to high-net-worth clients and complex planning cases (desirable)
