Position:Paraplanner - Full Time or Part Time (minimum of 20 hours per week)available.

Reporting to:Directors

Location:Leamington Spa – mix of office and home working

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team in Leamington. The ideal candidate should have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, ethical values and always be willing to do the job to the best of their ability. As a business we put our clients at the heart of everything we do and this role will be integral in helping us achieve this.

The ideal candidate will be Level 4 Diploma Qualified and have experience working within financial services. You will have exposure to all aspects of the business and committed support in developing your career.

The Role

We are open to this role being either a developmental role for a promising individual or for an established competent paraplanner to come in and make the role their own.

There are three key elements to this role:

• Administrative support – we have an administrator but we all chip in.
• Paraplanning – research, analysis, plan design, report writing and client communication.
• Personal development – technical knowledge, communication skills, level 4 and beyond.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• Ideally, experience in a paraplanning role gained within an IFA or equivalent environment focused on holistic financial planning for private and corporate clients encompassing pensions, investments and protection.
• Understand current regulations and how they apply to clients.
• Experience in the preparation of suitability reports and client letters across a broad range of products and contract types.
• Strong research skills and detailed knowledge of pension, investment and protection products.
• Achieved Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (or working towards this).
