Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial planning firm, dedicated to providing tailored, independent financial advice to both corporate and personal clients. With a strong focus on building long-lasting partnerships, they specialise in pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join their team in either Wilmslow or Nottingham.

The role offers a Hybrid working model; however, Remote working is available for the ideal candidate with occasional attendance to either the Wilmslow or Nottingham offices.

The Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting financial advisers by delivering in-depth research, technical analysis, and producing high-quality reports. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional passionate about providing efficient, compliant, and client-focused support in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Paraplanner:

• Conduct research and analysis on financial products and investment solutions to support tailored recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive client suitability reports in line with internal compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring all documentation is organised and accessible.
• Collaborate with financial advisers to review and challenge proposed recommendations when needed.

Requirements of the Paraplanner:

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent), including English and Math.
• Proven experience in an IFA/Wealth Management environment, with a broad knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.
• Proficiency with financial research tools and back-office systems (e.g., Intelligent Office, Defaqto, FE Analytics).
• Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, with a customer service mindset.
