Job summary

MHA in Northampton is seeking a talented Paraplanner / Financial Planning Administrator to join our wealth management team. You’ll work on complex pension and investment planning, build suitability reports, and support advisers with technical research, while delivering exceptional client service.

With 2–3 years in a paraplanning or wealth management role, you’ll have a good eye for detail, strong communication, and a proactive approach. Agile working and structured career progression are offered.

Qualifications

  • Paraplanner/Wealth Management experience (2–3 years).
  • Strong understanding of pensions and investments.
  • Experience producing suitability reports and technical research.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting providers to obtain information on existing plans.
  • Submitting/processing new business applications.
  • Obtaining plan valuations and updating client records.
  • Corresponding with clients and supporting the advisory team.

We’re looking for a talented Paraplanner / Financial Planning Administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to tackle complex challenges. The main duties of the role include:

  • Contacting providers to obtain information on existing plans
  • Submitting/processing new business applications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Paraplanner or Wealth Management role.
  • Solid understanding of pensions, investments, and financial planning processes.
  • Experience producing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and compliance awareness.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Working towards, or holding, relevant financial planning qualifications preferred.
