Exchange Street Claims & Financial Services is seeking a paraplanner to join a busy technical planning team. You’ll contribute to research and report writing across pensions, investments, tax planning, trusts and protection, with close collaboration to Financial Advisers.
Hybrid working is offered after training, with three days in the office and two at home. A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is ideal, though experienced paraplanners near completion are welcome.
Most paraplanning roles offer a salary, discretionary bonus (if you're lucky) and a vague promise about progression.
This one is different.
Here, you'll receive a salary of up to £35,000, alongside a clear performance-related bonus that could add a further £20,000-£24,000 a year once you're fully trained and established in the role.
The target is transparent - complete 40 cases a month while maintaining the required quality standards. Hit it consistently and earning more than £50,000 is genuinely realistic.
And if your longer-term ambition is to become a Financial Adviser, there is a clear route into advice, with support and funding for further qualifications.
You’ll join a busy technical planning team that currently includes six Paraplanners. Two additional roles have been approved because the volume of work continues to grow.
This team deals with the more complex cases, including higher-value clients and advice requiring more detailed calculations or technical input.
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you’ll help formulate suitable advice across areas including:
You’ll complete the product research and report writing, using the company's in-house planning system and established report templates.
There is no cashflow modelling involved.
Once you’re fully trained, you’ll work on a hybrid basis, spending three days each week in the office and two days at home.
Ideally, you’ll already hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
However, applications are also welcome from experienced Paraplanners who are close to completing it.
You’ll need to be comfortable managing a steady caseload, working accurately and dealing with advice that can be more technical than the average paraplanning role.
This is a well-established UK financial services business providing financial advice, wealth management and investment solutions. Advisers retain a degree of independence while receiving the infrastructure, technical support and resources of a larger group.
