Job summary

Recruit Wealth, Newcastle upon Tyne, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing Financial Planning business. You will provide first-class technical support, produce detailed suitability reports, and work alongside seasoned Financial Planners to deliver holistic financial advice.

You'll have Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) and Paraplanning experience within a Wealth Management environment.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Planning or Wealth Management business.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning.
• Excellent suitability report writing skills.
• Experience using cashflow modelling software and financial planning technology.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed and personalised suitability reports
• Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
• Building and maintaining accurate cashflow models
• Preparing recommendations that support holistic financial planning
• Liaising with clients and professional introducers including accountants and solicitors
• Assisting with advice implementation and maintaining high compliance standards
• Supporting Financial Planners throughout the advice process from recommendation through to implementation
• Ensuring FCA and Consumer Duty principles remain at the heart of every client outcome

The Role

Working closely with a team of experienced Financial Planners, you\'ll provide first-class technical support and help deliver tailored financial planning solutions for a wide range of clients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Producing detailed and personalised suitability reports
• Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning

About You

You\'ll already have experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment and be passionate about delivering exceptional technical work.

You'll Ideally Have

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
• Previous Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Planning or Wealth Management business
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning
• Excellent suitability report writing skills
• Experience using cashflow modelling software and financial planning technology
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to continue developing your technical expertise
