Job Description:

IRC is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a national firm of IFA's, for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team based at their Milton Keynes offices.

The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Advisers by providing technical support in servicing clients' financial advice needs, ensuring excellent client service, and conducting detailed research on clients' existing and potential arrangements. After assessing these against clients' financial objectives, you will produce timely and compliant financial planning reports.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Writing financial planning reports for advisers to present to clients.
2. Supporting advisers by conducting research on products and helping find suitable solutions.
3. Assisting with reviews and customer requests, acting as a point of contact for clients' day-to-day queries.
4. Arranging submissions of plans to provider companies.
5. Maintaining accurate and compliant client records on company software.
6. Preparing client review packs.
7. Handling illustration requests.
8. Staying updated with financial products and legislation.
9. Ensuring compliance with all company and industry guidelines, rules, and regulations.
10. Performing additional responsibilities as reasonably required.

Key Requirements:

1. Experience in a financial advice firm and strong report-writing skills are essential.
2. Diploma qualification is desirable; relevant skills and experience will also be considered.
3. A reliable individual capable of managing and prioritising workloads.
4. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
5. High accuracy in producing business correspondence and proofing for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
