Job summary

Bruin is seeking a Paraplanner to join their established team within a leading consultancy firm in Manchester. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide technical support to Wealth Planners and grow within the firm. Candidates should have a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and previous experience in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner role, ideally from an IFA/Financial planning firm.
• Competent suitability report writers with experience of varied reports.
• High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Recruitment Consultant - Financial Planning and Pensions at Bruin

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Paraplanner to join an established team within a leading consultancy firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at its growth stage and really grow and develop within the role.

Your primary role is to provide a full professional and technical support function to Wealth Planners.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Prepare quality and technically accurate client suitability reports

· Research suitable funds for clients

· Maintain the client back office system

· Keep up to date with new legislative changes

· Working closely with financial advisers and administrators to ensure a high standard of advice and service to clients

· Producing all the relevant paperwork for the client, on behalf of the adviser, including quotations, illustrations and valuations

· Dealing with queries from clients, advisers or colleagues, taking the appropriate action to ensure the query is dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

· Providing professional customer service to new and existing clients via telephone, email and face to face when required.

To be successful for this job you will need to have previous experience in a Paraplanner role, ideally from an IFA/Financial planning firm, although restricted backgrounds will also be considered. You must also be Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning.

The ideal candidate will be competent suitability report writers and must have experience of writing varied reports on different products and services. They will need excellent communication across all levels, good organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
