ePeople is recruiting for a leading financial advisory and wealth management firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is a remote role with occasional travel to their London headquarters.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial planning, suitability report writing, and technical research within an FCA-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate suitability reports, investment proposals, and recommendation letters in line with FCA regulations.
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection, estate planning, and tax-efficient solutions.
- Support financial advisers in delivering high-quality client service.
- Liaise with product providers to obtain up-to-date policy information and valuations.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and current legislation.
- Collaborate with advisers, administrators, and compliance teams to progress cases efficiently.
Requirements
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within a financial advisory or wealth management setting.
- Qualified to Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent (or working towards).
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., Voyant, Truth, Intelligent Office) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organisational ability.
- Flexible remote working with occasional HQ visits.
- Professional development and exam support towards Chartered status.
- Exposure to a diverse and high-value client base.
- Collaborative and supportive team environment.
