We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly regarded Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Hitchin. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner who is looking to develop into a client-facing Financial Adviser, supported by a collaborative and professional team. The firm is known for its personalised, relationship-led approach to financial planning, with a strong emphasis on integrity, professional development, and long-term client care.

As a Paraplanner, you will support advisers with high-quality research, analysis, and suitability report writing. You will work closely with experienced financial planners to deliver tailored client solutions while progressing your development towards an advisory role.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed financial research and prepare suitability reports.

Support advisers in developing and reviewing client financial plans.

Perform cash flow modelling and product analysis.

Maintain accurate client records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Engage actively in adviser training and professional development.

Requirements

Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within financial planning.

Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.

Excellent written communication and analytical skills.

Clear ambition to transition into a client-facing advisory role.

Private Medical Insurance (PMI)

Death in Service and Income Protection Insurances.

Hybrid working options may be available.
