Job description

Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a highly reputable firm that prides itself on offering a personal service to its clients?

We currently have such an opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner in the Harrogate area to join our client, a Financial Services Company, which offers independent advice on pensions, investments, protection, tax, and wealth management to their clients.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:15 pm

The successful Paraplanner will be offered:

  • £35,000 - £45,000 salary (based on experience)
  • 25 days holiday per annum plus statutory holidays
  • Pension contribution
  • 2x DIS
  • Free parking

To be considered for the Paraplanner role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in pensions and investments gained in a similar role, preferably with an IFA
  • Diploma qualified (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential depending on experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - strong telephone skills are a must
  • Strong systems and technical abilities, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and deal with enquiries efficiently and in an organized manner
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in research tools such as O&M, FE Analytics, Avelo Exchange, Iress Database System, etc.

As a Paraplanner, your role will involve:

  • Providing technical, research, and administrative support
  • Producing compliant and detailed suitability reports
  • Ensuring all client records are fully compliant and up to date
  • Conducting annual client reviews
